This book assembles all the talks and media presented at Aliens & Anorexia: A Chris Kraus Symposium, which took place in March 2013 at the Royal College of Art, London. In 1975 Laura Mulvey published her seminal essay on the male gaze, ushering in a new era in understanding the politics and theory of looking at the female body.
